Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  

• Microsoft Azure Certified Solutions Architect

  or

  Azure Certified Administrator

  (preferred)
• Proven experience working on

  large-scale, high-traffic e-commerce platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate

  highly reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure

  on Azure
• Architect and manage

  distributed systems

  and large platform components
• Harden, scale, and continuously monitor

  Linux-based systems

• Define and manage

  SLIs/SLOs

  , drive proactive monitoring and alerting
• Participate in

  24/7 on-call rotation

  , ensuring rapid incident mitigation and thorough RCAs
• Analyze system usage patterns and

  forecast capacity requirements

• Partner with

  platform, security, and engineering teams

  to deliver resilient architectures
• Conduct

  infrastructure reviews, audits, chaos testing, and DR readiness exercises

• Create and maintain

  runbooks, IaC diagrams, and incident response playbooks

• Ensure

  high-quality architecture, design standards, and operational excellence

• Reduce

  MTTR

  by implementing

  self-healing and automation mechanisms

• Drive

  governance initiatives

  and ensure compliance with organizational and security standards
• Mentor and lead engineers, fostering a culture of reliability and continuous improvement
  
• Provide support during

  nights/weekends

  for critical (P0) incidents when required

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Strong experience with

  Microsoft Azure

• Infrastructure as Code using

  Terraform / ARM Templates

• Experience implementing

  Disaster Recovery (DR)

  strategies
• Expertise in

  CI/CD pipelines

  and release management

DevOps & Automation

• Hands-on experience with

  Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Argo CD

• Automation tools:

  Terraform, Ansible, Packer

• Strong Linux system administration skills
  
• Proficiency in

  Python

Containers & Distributed Systems

• Kubernetes (

  K8s

  ) orchestration and containerized workloads
• Experience with

  Kafka
