Business Analyst or Lead Analyst - Associate Customer Success

We are seeking to hire an individual for the role of Business Analyst / Lead Analyst Associate, Customer Success. This individual should be passionate about solving real-world business problems through data and technology. The role requires strong analytical abilities, a foundational understanding of finance, and the drive to work closely with both clients and internal teams to deliver impactful solutions.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting client success through the implementation of an AI-driven platform. The role includes understanding business requirements, ensuring smooth solution implementation, reviewing data output quality, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders including engineering, product, and delivery teams. You will help interpret unstructured financial data, draw insights, and contribute towards refining the client experience and platform outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Understand client business needs, objectives, and processes to translate into clear and structured requirements.
• Involved in a combination of Business Analyst activities such as requirement gathering, process mapping, preparing BRDs, reviewing outputs, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the internal team to validate data extracted from unstructured financial documents.
• Data validation and analysis will be key aspects of the role to ensure accurate, high-quality outputs.
• Provide inputs and insights throughout development and testing phases to ensure alignment with client goals.
• Coordinate and track activities related to solution implementation and client success.
• Perform functional and quality checks on data outputs and flag issues early.
• Support user story writing and documentation of business use cases.
• Participate in client demos, feedback sessions, and provide ongoing support for queries or enhancement requests.
• Identify trends and anomalies in data to improve platform accuracy and value.
• Maintain documentation such as process flows, UAT test cases, feedback logs, etc.
• Actively contribute towards continuous improvement in product quality, processes, and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Tech Skills:

• Good understanding of financial data, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Excel for data validation, analysis and reporting.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile processes is preferred.
• Prior exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar will be a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Team player with the ability to also manage tasks independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking ability.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset toward issue resolution and improvements.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow with evolving business and tech landscapes.

Education Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
