Job Description

Assist in gathering business requirements through various methods (e.g., document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, use cases).
Collaborate with process owners and end users to document business processes and assist in translating them into system data specifications and configurations.
Provide basic application training to the user community as needed.
Develop a foundational understanding of the product implementation lifecycle.

Project Execution/Implementation

Support the development of project plans for system enhancements by documenting requirements.
Provide timely status updates to the immediate supervisor.
Assist in system configurations and data needs for successful implementation under guidance.
Incorporate feedback from the supervisor into work products.
Understand and consistently apply project standards.
Assist in developing internal and external meeting objectives and agendas.
Prioritize tasks effectively as assigned.
Learn the components necessary for a successful project.

Technical Recommendation and Testing

Assist end users with conducting conference room pilots and testing solutions.
Support the user community with validation and troubleshooting basic system issues (e.g., configuration issues), including basic SQL for diagnosis.
Understand technical design specifications.
Define test conditions and scenarios.
Develop accurate and complete test plans.
Conduct functional testing according to plan.
Identify and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Experience:
2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role supporting business applications and processes.
