Key Requirements & Responsibilities

The candidate should

• Act as primary business analyst and domain SME for wealth management and capital markets initiatives, translating strategic objectives into actionable requirements and user stories.
• Lead requirements elicitation sessions, process workshops, and stakeholder interviews to capture functional, non-functional, and regulatory requirements.
• Create clear artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, use cases, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
• Have end-to-end understanding of the Wealth Management Ecosystem from Front to Mid to Back-Office Processes.
• Have a prior tech background and work experience on any IT projects related to the Wealth Management domain.
• Have exposure to projects and expertise in KYC/AML, client onboarding, portfolio management, direct indexing, tax services, trading, billing, regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design technological solutions that address complex business challenges.
• Engage in client-facing demos and meetings, representing both business and solution perspectives.
• Support pre-sales activities by scoping solutions, estimating effort, creating solution narratives, participating in client meetings and demos, and providing SME input to commercial proposals.
• Provide SME support for RFP responses and proposal development, ensuring technical and business accuracy, differentiation, and feasibility of proposed solutions.

Were looking for people who

• Have 10+ years of experience in Financial Services with demonstrated Wealth Management and Capital Markets domain expertise.
• Bring prior consulting or professional services experience with practice-level delivery exposure (strategy to execution) and experience engaging in pre-sales / go-to-market activities.
• Possess strong understanding of investment products (equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, structured products), portfolio accounting, trade lifecycle and custody operations.
• Have proven experience with client onboarding, CRM, Trading, Advisory \/Proposal creation, KYC/AML workflows and regulatory reporting in wealth environments.
• Demonstrate excellent requirements gathering, process modelling and stakeholder management skills, plus the ability to produce clear documentation and present to senior leadership and technical teams.
• Are experienced working in agile delivery models and writing user stories.
• Have hands-on involvement in AI / GenAI initiatives applied to wealth use cases.
• Possess product knowledge of platforms equivalent to BNY Pershing NetX360 / Wove or Envestnet, SEI, FIS, etc..
• Hold a bachelors degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
