Job Title: Business Analyst Payments Domain

Location:

About the Role

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payment-related products and features.
Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to define and refine functional specifications.
Evaluate and map payment flows including UPI, card authentication, and payment gateway processes.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance product efficiency and user experience.
Perform impact analysis for new features, regulatory updates, and system changes.
Support QA teams in validating requirements and ensuring smooth UAT.
Monitor product performance and assist in troubleshooting issues within payment systems.
Prepare BRDs, PRDs, workflow diagrams, and user stories.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum
4 years
of experience as a Business Analyst in the
payments domain
.
Strong understanding of:

UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
Card Authentication flows
(3DS, OTP, Risk checks, etc.)
Payments Processing
(issuer/acquirer flows, switching, settlement, reconciliation)

Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and draw insights.
Proficiency in creating documentation such as BRDs, PRDs, process flows, and user stories.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
