Business Analyst - Finance

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working with global clients on planned budgeting, maintaining accurate financial records, gathering financial data, preparing financial statements, and streamlining financial processes. Primary Responsibilities: - Reconcile actual spending with the planned budget, identifying discrepancies and providing detailed reports - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and provide insights into budget performance - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports - Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures - Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity and accuracy - Provide support during financial planning and forecasting processes - Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and reporting Competencies/Skills: 1. Proficient in MS Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 2. Experience in finance or accounts 3. Experience in analyzing financial reports and data 4. Experience in identifying trends and patterns in financial data 5. Experience in preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis 6. Providing financial insights and recommendations to clients for strategic decision-making 7. Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and work independently 8. Maintain quality of work and meet multiple deadlines as required 9. Strong communicator with the ability to maintain open communication with clients, internal employees, and managers as needed 10.
