Job Description

As a BUK PMO Analyst at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and operational excellence by spearheading the evolution of infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your primary responsibility will be to build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, ensuring the seamless delivery of digital solutions. To succeed in this role, you should have experience in the following areas: - Strong financial knowledge, including financial planning and analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. - Understanding of journals, Capex, and Opex. - Experience with timesheet recoveries and follow-ups. - Proficiency in reporting and dashboards. - Senior stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical skills for quality assurance. - Proficiency in MS Word and advanced Excel. Additionally, highly valued skills may include an understanding of the governance environment in the IB/Banking industry, experience in working as a Change Delivery PMO, exposure to internal and external audits on governance controls, and strong communication skills required for training a large audience. Your responsibilities as a BUK PMO Analyst will include: - Supporting change delivery managers to ensure programme compliance with the Barclays Control Framework. - Creating and implementing standardized PMO processes aligned with controls and governance standards. - Monitoring project performance, tracking progress, identifying risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and reporting project status to senior management. - Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets. - Facilitating project governance to align with the organization's strategic objectives. - Providing change management framework training to project managers and stakeholders. - Continuously improving project management practices. As an Analyst at Barclays, you are expected to: - Perform activities in a timely manner at a high standard, driving continuous improvement. - Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your area of expertise. - Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development and coordinating resources. - Take responsibility for end results of operational processing and activities. - Partner with other functions and business areas. - Advise and influence decision-making within your area of expertise. - Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls. - Demonstrate understanding of how your area integrates with function and organization objectives. - Resolve problems by selecting solutions based on technical experience and precedents. - Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function.
