Job Description

Paying Guest (PG) building manager required to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the PG facility(s), ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents. Responsibilities include managing staff, handling resident issues, coordinating maintenance, and enforcing rules and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Resident Management: Addressing resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.  Enforcing PG rules and regulations, maintaining a peaceful and respectful living environment.  Managing resident check-in/check-out procedures.  Maintaining accurate resident records and communication.  Facility Management: Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the building, including common areas and individual rooms.  Coordinating repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, or contractors.  Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, potentially managing housekeeping staff.  Conducting regular inspections of the property.  Managing inventory of supplies and amenities.  Staff Management: Supervising and delegating tasks to any housekeeping or maintenance staff.  Ensuring staff performance meets expectations.  Financial Management: Managing the PG's budget and expenses.  Collecting rent and managing payments (if applicable).  Safety and Security: Implementing and enforcing safety and security measures.  Ensuring the building is secure and residents feel safe.  Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents.  Acting as a point of contact for residents and addressing their needs.  Fostering a sense of community within the PG.  Other responsibilities: Assisting with the development of PG policies and procedures.  Participating in the PG's marketing and promotional activities.  Handling any emergency situations that may arise.  Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: To interact effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.  Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills: To address resident issues and maintain a harmonious environment.  Organizational and time-management skills: To manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.  Basic financial management skills: To manage the PG's budget and expenses.  Knowledge of building maintenance and safety regulations: To ensure the property is well-maintained and safe.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team: To manage the PG effectively.  Proficiency in relevant software and tools: For communication, record-keeping, and financial management.  Customer service experience: To provide excellent service to residents.
