• Dashboard Development

  : Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards, workbooks, and data visualizations with advanced calculations, LODs, parameters, and actions.

• Technical Problem-Solving

  : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, data connectivity challenges, and dashboard scalability issues.

• Client Advisory

  : Recommend visualization and design options to clients, articulate pros/cons, and guide them toward best-fit solutions.

• Standards & Best Practices

  : Establish and enforce Tableau development standards, style guides, and governance practices.

• Mentorship

  : Guide and mentor junior Tableau developers, review their work, and provide technical coaching.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align on data models, KPIs, and business logic.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of

  hands-on Tableau development experience

  (desktop and server/online).
• Strong command over Tableau advanced features (LOD expressions, complex calculations, blended vs. joined data sources, parameters, sets, and actions).
• Experience in

  resolving performance issues

  (query optimization, extracts vs. live connections, dashboard efficiency tuning).
• Solid understanding of

  UI/UX principles

  for dashboard design, with ability to advise on visualization trade-offs.
• Experience in

  mentoring junior developers

  and conducting peer code/design reviews.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational & dimensional data models.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to

  cloud data platforms

  (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
• Experience with

  Tableau Prep

  for data preparation.
• Knowledge of other visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) for comparative advisory.
• Experience working in

  Agile environments

  and using tools like Jira.
