Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited (USFBL), established in April 2016, focuses on providing banking and financial services to underserved sections in rural and semi-urban areas of India. Commencing its operations on January 23, 2017, USFBL offers a range of loans including microfinance, MSME, housing, personal, commercial vehicle, construction equipment, and wholesale lending. The bank is headquartered in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and also offers a variety of digital services such as Internet and Mobile Banking, Digi On-Boarding, online account opening, and ATMs/Micro ATMs.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Branch Manager located in Pathanamthitta. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, managing staff, handling customer queries and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting branch targets. The role includes developing business strategies to attract new clients, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulations. The Branch Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments for smooth branch functioning and reporting to higher management.

Qualifications

Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
In-depth understanding of banking products and processes, including Microfinance, MSME loans, and other retail asset loans
Proficiency in using banking software and digital banking tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Sales and marketing acumen to drive branch growth
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent degree is a plus
Previous experience in a managerial role in a banking environment is preferred
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
