1. LEADERSHIP AND PEOPLE MANAGEMENT - Uses structured processes and agreed best practice methods to recruit, select and develop Professional and front-line employees performing multiple functions. Ensures they have the capability and tools to deliver results for BVC LOGISTICS and the Customer.
Ongoing, achieves optimum performance levels by clearly communicating corporate and local requirements, including individual and team performance expectations and targets. Uses approved tools to set and manage performance and ensure goal achievement.
2. OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE - Monitors and manages the progress of the operation to ensure that the team correctly understand the goals and any changing requirements. Initiates any actions needed to ensure that service levels are achieved, including re-assigning duties and implementing approved contingency arrangements.

3. QUALITY AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - Achieves objectives (improving productivity, quality, resolution of issues etc) by recommending and/or implementing changes to existing plans, processes or procedures. Participates in defined initiatives to implement location wide changes.
4. SERVICE EXCELLENCE - Supports the Senior Manager in the achievement of ongoing operational excellence and the optimal Customer Experience.
For assigned areas not covered by corporate processes, (Customer requirements, facility constraints, line-haul, equipment etc) contributes to the development and/or implementation of local processes and procedures that maximise efficiencies.
5. EXTERNAL / INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS - As required, supports interactions with external bodies (transportation authorities, fire and emergency departments, customs etc) to gain input, agreement or approval for actions.
Participates in discussions with employee representative bodies when needed. Includes providing specific information relating to new or changing employee or operational requirements.
5. COST CONTROLS - Uses agreed methods and tools to manage specific elements of the budget (overtime, ODA/OPA etc) and ensures that all costs are regularly reviewed/controlled within agreed limits.
6. SAFETY AND SECURITY- Manages and controls assigned aspects of safety and security ensuring ongoing compliance with defined Company standards and legislative requirements. Includes fostering a safety/security-focused culture with employees and advising/informing Customers on relevant requirements needed for their specific business.
7. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT - Uses defined performance measurement tools and processes to record and track required aspects of operational performance (service, people, costs etc). Evaluates results and takes appropriate actions where issues are not of a systemic or procedural nature. For other issues makes initial recommendations/provides feedback to enable continuous improvement and improved Customer satisfaction. Provides accurate and timely verbal and written reporting of results.
8. TEAM ALIGNMENTS - Develops and maintains effective alignments within BVC LOGISTICS who can facilitate and influence problem resolution and goal achievement. Shares relevant information and collaborates to resolve issues and achieve required results for the business and its Customers.
9. BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER KNOWLEDGE - Develops a good overall understanding of the BVC LOGISTICS business (systemform, operations, people and financial processes etc) and key operational processes and systems related to own area. Uses this knowledge combined with key metrics to engage employees to deliver operational results using safe, legal and effective methods and practices.
Having at least 5 + years of Experience into Logistics or Cash Management Industry.
Any Graduate.
Location - Ahmedabad.
