Branch Manager

Role & responsibilities

* Achieve monthly target and annual gold loan, business loan disbursement and portfolio growth targets

* Lead and manage the gold loan, business loan operations across assigned branches to ensure smooth functioning

* Implement effective strategies to grow the gold loan, business loan business, enhance productivity and improve profitability

* Conduct regular branch visits, staff guidance and performance monitoring to ensure operational excellence

* Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines

* Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and improve market share

* Train, motivate and mentor branch - Level staff to build a high performing gold loan, business loan team

* Proactively handle customer issues and ensure excellent service delivery

* Provide periodic reports and insights to senior management on business performance and risk areas

Preferred candidate profile

* Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in the gold loan, business loan Industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role

* Proven track record of achieving business targets, driving portfolio growth, and managing multi branch operations

* Strong knowledge of gold valuation techniques, operational procedures and regulatory compliance

* Excellent leadership, people management and team development skills

* Analytical mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and mitigate risks

* Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation

* Ability to work independently and under pressure in a target driven environment

* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial services systems will be an added advantage

* A degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Management, Finance or Banking is preferred
