Job Description

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, driving business growth, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining full regulatory compliance. Your strong leadership skills, banking knowledge, and ability to manage both people and financial performance effectively will be key to success. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, supervise, and support all branch staff, including tellers, customer service officers, and sales teams. - Oversee daily banking operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with bank policies. - Manage cash flow, branch vault, ATM operations, and security protocols. - Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and smooth daily functioning. Business Development & Sales: - Drive branch sales targets for deposits, loans, credit cards, insurance, and other banking products. - Develop and implement strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention. - Build strong relationships with high-value clients, local businesses, and community leaders. - Monitor competitor activities and market trends. Customer Service: - Ensure a high standard of customer experience across all touchpoints. - Handle escalated queries and provide personalized financial solutions. - Ensure the branch meets customer satisfaction KPIs. Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure full adherence to KYC/AML guidelines and internal audit standards. - Identify and mitigate operational risks. - Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance. Team Leadership & Training: - Motivate, guide, and evaluate team performance. - Conduct regular training on products, compliance, sales techniques, and customer service. - Foster a positive and productive work culture. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in banking, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. - Strong understanding of retail banking products, operations, and regulatory guidelines. - Proven track record of meeting sales and performance targets.
