Responsibilities

• Keeping all accounts current, including inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, reconciling bank accounts, reconciling credit cards, entering expenses, and all other actions related to entering and reconciling financial transactions
• Process purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconcile vendor accounts
• Prepare estimates, invoices, credit memos, and reconcile customer accounts
• Calculate, report, and remit sales taxes and royalties.
• Perform general accrual accounting tasks
• Monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure financial stability
• Prepare and send year-end tax documents to vendors and accountants
• Generate periodic financial reports as assigned
• Perform journal entries as needed and respond to requests for information from our external accounting firm to finish our quarterly and yearly tax filing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficient with accounting practices
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
• Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and resilient with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure
