Bookkeeper

You will be working as a Bookkeeper for one of our clients, a rapidly growing accountancy practice based in the UK. As a Bookkeeper, you will be expected to handle financial data independently and also collaborate effectively with colleagues in the UK. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills in English, and have the ability to work well with the team. Your responsibilities will include entering and organizing financial transactions in QuickBooks Online as per UK accounting standards, reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements, preparing monthly financial statements like Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss, adapting bookkeeping practices for different industries, and communicating with both internal teams and external clients to address queries and discrepancies. To be eligible for this position, you should have a Master's degree in accounting, be a Semi-qualified accountant, or an ICB certified bookkeeper. It is essential to have at least 2 years of experience in QuickBooks Online bookkeeping for UK clients. Candidates with QuickBooks Online certified pro-advisor designation will be given preference. Fluency in English for both verbal and written communication is a must as you will be interacting with the UK team regularly. This position requires you to be based in Chennai and work from the office.
