Farmbook Farmer Producer Company is located near Nandapur village in Koraput District, Odisha. It is a Turmeric, Ginger and Other spices processing plant company. It is involved in transforming raw turmeric and ginger roots into various high value products such as turmeric powder, turmeric oil, oleoresin, capsules and even curcumin extract . Farmbook FPC procures raw materials from farmers and processes such as drying,polishing,grinding,capsuling and packaging.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Boiler Operator to operate and maintain IBR-certified industrial boilers efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate must have hands-on industrial experience and a strong mechanical background to ensure smooth boiler operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain IBR (Indian Boiler Regulation) boilers and auxiliary equipment.
• Ensure proper steam generation and supply to meet plant requirements.
• Conduct routine checks on pressure, temperature, fuel, and water levels.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of boilers and related systems.
• Maintain daily log sheets and records of boiler operations and parameters.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and statutory regulations.
• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Assist in energy efficiency initiatives and water treatment management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Certification: Valid IBR Boiler Operation Certificate (1st or 2nd Class Boiler Attendant).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of industrial experience operating IBR-certified boilers.
• Strong understanding of boiler safety procedures and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with different types of fuels (gas, oil, coal, biomass).
• Knowledge of PLC-based boiler control systems.
• Experience in utilities or process industries (FMCG, food, textile, chemical, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
