Job Description

ENGINEER DESIGN & ENGINEERING

BE or M. Tech Degree, Mech Engine, BE Mech, Mtech Machine Design 5-7 years of experience in oil & gas, waste heat fired boiler engineering & design

Software Knowledge:

Must be proficient with AutoCAD.

Experience with CFD and FEA analysis programs and various CAM packages.

Proficient with Windows OS and common office applications, including ERP software Passionate about detail engineering and development,

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The selected individual will work in oil & gas fired boiler design and detail engineering.

Responsible for boiler design & detailing in oil & gas area. Responsibilities would include design and actual detailing of complete equipment systems; design and detailing of balance of plant equipment; specification and selection of appropriate materials; engineering calculations of strength, force, thermal transfer; BOMs and drawings management.
Design and detailing of the pressure part/non pressure part and design/detailing / selection of the combustor required for boiler.
Thermal and mechanical calculation for boiler.
Good knowledge of IBR codes and regulation required for pressure part and boiler design/detailing.
Selection and specification finalization for Fans/ Economizer/ WPH/ Chimney/Piping/Ducting etc.
Coordination with sales, manufacturing & supply functions for timely completion of orders.
Manage job costs by specifying cost-effective designs, parts and methods, with strong emphasis on minimizing engineering and manufacturing labor costs with challenging time frame.
Specify, select and integrate components used in design, and manage vendor selection and evaluation process.
Work with supply team to assist in manufacture of parts, assembly and test of systems.
Work with customer during concept, design development and review and work with Sales and Marketing teams for initial proposals.
Work with project and service team in the execution and troubleshooting & design validation of the product at site .
