Role & responsibilities

System Monitoring and Control

• Continuously monitor building systems through the BMS interface.
  
• Adjust HVAC (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning) parameters to maintain comfort and energy efficiency.
  
• Monitor alarms, faults, and system warnings and respond promptly.
  

2. Troubleshooting & Fault Response

• Identify and diagnose issues in mechanical, electrical, or control systems.
  
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve faults.
  
• Reset systems after maintenance or alarms.
  

3. Daily Operations

• Perform routine checks of equipment such as chillers, pumps, AHUs, FAHUs, exhaust fans, lighting panels, etc.
  
• Log daily readings such as temperatures, pressures, voltages, and energy consumption.
  
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical building services.
  

4. Preventive Maintenance Support

• Assist in scheduling preventive maintenance activities.
  
• Track maintenance work orders through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  
• Support technicians by providing system data and trend reports.
  

5. Energy Management

• Monitor and analyze energy usage to identify inefficiencies.
  
• Adjust system settings for optimal energy performance.
  
• Provide reports on energy consumption trends.
  

6. Safety & Compliance

• Monitor fire alarm systems and emergency systems integrated with the BMS.
  
• Follow safety protocols when responding to alarms.
  
• Ensure systems operate according to local regulations and building standards.
  

7. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  
• Maintain logs of system alarms, faults, and operational changes.
  
• Update system documentation when modifications are made.
