Bleaching Supervisor

· Oversee end-to-end operations of the cotton bleaching process during the assigned shift.

· Monitor bleaching parameters such as temperature, chemical dosage, pH levels, and processing time to ensure consistent quality.

· Supervise shift workforce and allocate tasks to operators, helpers, and technicians.

· Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of bleaching chemicals (HO, caustic, wetting agents, stabilizers, etc.).

· Inspect machinery (kiers, J-box, washing ranges, dosing systems) to ensure smooth and safe operation.

· Maintain continuous production flow and coordinate with dyeing, finishing, and maintenance departments.

· Conduct routine checks on fabric whiteness, absorbency, and quality parameters as per standards.

· Troubleshoot process deviations and take corrective actions to avoid defects or delays.

· Ensure strict compliance with safety guidelines and PPE usage in chemical handling areas.

· Maintain shift logs, production reports, chemical consumption records, and downtime documentation.

· Monitor effluent and ensure disposal is in line with environmental norms.

· Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to 5S practices within the bleaching area.

· Train and guide shift personnel on process control and safety protocols.

· Report major breakdowns, chemical issues, or quality deviations to senior management.

Requirements

· Diploma in Textiles, Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, B.Tech/B.E. in Textile

· 3-5 years of experience

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
