Job Description

Design & Development Engineer – Wiping, Washing & Audible Systems Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Mechatronics (M.Tech with relevant experience acceptable). Experience: 2–6 years in automotive design & development. Key Responsibilities: Design & development of wiping & washing systems, audible warning devices, and cowl top garnish. Ensure regulation compliance, conduct testing, and manage part/vehicle-level validation. Lead localization, VAVE, weight & cost reduction initiatives. Perform root cause analysis, DFMEA, DRBFM, countermeasure planning. Coordinate with Suzuki HQ (Japan) and suppliers for part development. Study industry trends and apply to new designs. Skills & Competencies: CAD proficiency (Unigraphics NX preferred), GD&T, tolerance stack-up. Experience in wiper/washer/audible systems design. Knowledge of automotive regulations, kinematics, plastics & sheet metal processes. Familiar with EMC/EMI, Cybersecurity, ISO26262. Strong planning, problem-solving, and project management skills.
