Biomedical Engineer

As a Biomedical Equipment Technician in our company, your role will involve assisting in designing process flows for various departments under the guidance of the Department Head and Hospital. You will also be responsible for planning processes, installing, commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and providing technical support for sophisticated biomedical equipment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers for various maintenance activities such as Preventive Maintenance, Safety Maintenance, Shut down Maintenance, and Calibration during Warranty / CAC / AMC period of the medical equipment. - Servicing and calibrating major & minor medical equipment. - Attending and supporting On Call situations in clinical areas related to medical equipment. - Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment installations. - Training clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment. - Ensuring maximum utilization of the equipment. - Documenting as per NABH Accreditation requirements of the Hospital. - Collaborating with life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists to research the engineering aspects of biological systems of humans and animals. - Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time. The job type for this role is Full-time and the work location is in person.
