Key Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, and imaging systems.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks and repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
Train doctors, nurses, and technicians on proper equipment usage.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and biomedical waste disposal standards.
Work closely with hospital administration for new equipment procurement and upgrades.
Conduct troubleshooting and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with hospital accreditation and biomedical standards (ISO, NABH, etc.).
Perform quality control checks on medical devices before use.
