Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development:

  Design engaging lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and national educational standards, ensuring comprehensive coverage of core Biology topics.

• Classroom Instruction:

  Deliver interactive and effective instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and student needs.

• Subject Expertise:

  Demonstrate deep knowledge of biological sciences, offering clear explanations and simplifying complex concepts.

• Practical Demonstrations:

  Conduct lab sessions and Biology experiments to enhance students' understanding through hands-on learning.

• Assessment & Evaluation:

  Develop and administer tests, quizzes, and projects to accurately monitor and support student progress.

• Individual Support:

  Provide academic support through one-on-one mentoring, constructive feedback, and performance improvement plans.

• Parental Engagement:

  Maintain proactive communication with parents/guardians regarding student performance, growth, and concerns.

• Professional Growth:

  Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Biology education through continuous professional development.

• Team Collaboration:

  Work closely with fellow educators on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.

• Extracurricular Activities:

  Encourage student participation in science fairs, clubs, and competitions to foster a passion that extends beyond the classroom.

• Classroom Management:

  Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and responsibility.

• Innovation & Improvement:

  Continuously reflect on teaching methods and implement new strategies to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Biology or Life Sciences (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related subject
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
• Strong command of the senior secondary Biology curriculum
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous learning
