Role & responsibilities

1. Teaching & Classroom Management

• Deliver clear, engaging, and concept-focused Biology & Chemistry lessons for Classes 712 (ICSE/CBSE curriculum).
  
• Use diagrams, models, experiments, and real-life examples to simplify complex biological concepts.
  
• Maintain discipline, encourage curiosity, and ensure a positive learning environment.
  

2. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Design

• Prepare

  well-structured lesson plans

  , yearly academic plans, and chapter-wise teaching schedules.
• Align all teaching materials with ICSE/CBSE curriculum requirements.
  
• Create digital presentations, worksheets, charts, and revision notes.
  

3. Student Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct

  formative and summative assessments

  , class tests, and unit tests.
• Prepare board-style sample papers for Classes 10 & 12 (ICSE/CBSE pattern).
  
• Evaluate answer scripts fairly and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  

Preferred candidate profile

Academic Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in

  Biology / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Zoology / Botany

  .

• B.Ed / M.Ed

  mandatory or preferred for senior classes.

Board Background

• Candidate must be a

  CBSE or ICSE pass-out

  (Class 10 & 12).
• Should be familiar with

  both Boards syllabus, exam pattern, and marking scheme

  .

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over Biology concepts from Classes 7 to 12.
  
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  
• Ability to explain scientific concepts in simple, student-friendly language.
  
• Comfortable using

  smart-class tools, digital boards, PPTs, and educational technology

• Experience in handling practical labs and preparing students for board exams.
