BIM Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage detailed structural BIM models (RCC & Steel) in Revit based on inputs from the design engineering team. Support Design Engineers in creating and refining models, ensuring they reflect accurate design intent and calculations. Prepare construction-ready general arrangement drawings, reinforcement detailing, and coordinated drawing sets. Interpret structural calculations, design notes, and sketches to incorporate into the model effectively. Update models and drawings as per design changes, revisions, or value engineering inputs. Maintain BIM standards and documentation aligned with project and company requirements. Eligibility Criteria: Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Diploma 2–4 years of experience in structural Revit modeling, working in close association with design teams. Sound understanding of structural systems, detailing, and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret structural design calculations and apply them within BIM workflows. Experience up to LOD 400 modeling is preferable. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD. Basic exposure to design tools like ETABS, STAAD Pro, or SAFE is a plus. Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
