Billing Staff

As a Billing Staff at our Kottayam location, your primary responsibility will be to prepare accurate bills for customers, handle point-of-sale (POS) systems, and maintain records of all sales transactions. You will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and generating customer bills accurately using the POS or billing software, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, and offers are applied, maintaining proper records of daily sales, and submitting reports to the accounts team. You will also be expected to assist customers during checkout, reconcile cash and receipts at the end of each shift, report any discrepancies in billing or inventory to the supervisor, and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the billing counter. Following all company procedures regarding billing, returns, and customer service is essential, as well as coordinating with floor staff and the inventory team for stock or price issues. To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum qualification of SSLC, Plus Two, or Graduate, with prior experience in billing or cashiering preferred, especially in the retail or textile sector. Basic knowledge of computers and billing software such as Tally and POS systems is required, along with good communication and interpersonal skills. You must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, be willing to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate trustworthiness and honesty in handling cash and customer data.
