Billing Officer

As a Billing Officer with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience, your role will involve reviewing and verifying pending invoices related to railway contracts/projects. You will be required to liaise with Indian Railways departments such as Accounts, Engineering, and Commercial to expedite old invoices. Regular follow-up with Railway officials, both offline and online, will be necessary to track the progress of bill processing. Additionally, you will need to prepare and submit required documentation and compliance forms, such as measurement books and work completion certificates. Maintaining up-to-date status reports of pending/cleared invoices and resolving discrepancies and disputes related to past billing with factual documentation and communication will also be part of your responsibilities. Familiarity with railway online portals like IREPS and IPAS will be beneficial.
