We are looking for an experienced Site Incharge to oversee and manage execution at Railway project sites. The role involves supervising manpower, ensuring compliance, handling vendors, and managing fabrication/erection works with a strong focus on quality and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day site execution and ensure work is carried out as per project timelines. Recruit, train, and manage site workers for railway projects. Handle legal and compliance formalities related to site manpower and operations. Manage materials, costs, and budgets; negotiate project fees where required. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure efficient execution. Prepare work certifications, raise bills, and follow up on payments. Maintain site inventories, daily progress reports, and documentation. Oversee fabrication and erection of heavy SS structures. Identify and repair mechanical failures in BOXNHL wagons and other rolling stock. Monitor and audit Routine Overhaul (ROH) and Periodic Overhaul (POH) of various wagons (BOXN, BCN, NMG, BRN, BOBYN, BVZI). Requirements Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 3 8 years of relevant site/project experience. Strong knowledge of fabrication, erection, and mechanical repair in railway projects. Good leadership, team management, and vendor handling skills. Ability to prepare bills, reports, and manage compliance efficiently. Prior railway project experience will be a strong advantage.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Officer to manage and streamline billing activities related to railway projects. The role requires strong knowledge of government billing processes, railway portals, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, timely approvals, and payment clearance. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and prepare invoices for: Mechanical projects Railway fabrication works Manpower supply & deployment Bogie repair and maintenance Bio-toilet installation & servicing Ensure all invoices comply with contract terms and are supported with required documentation. Liaise with internal teams (Engineering, Mechanical, Commercial, Accounts) and railway officials for timely approvals. Prepare and compile billing documents including Measurement Books (MBs), Work Completion Certificates (WCC), Joint Inspection Reports, and Performance Certificates. Maintain accurate digital and physical records for audit and compliance purposes. Regularly follow up with railway officials (online/offline) to track bill status and expedite payments. Use railway billing portals such as IREPS and IPAS for bill generation, tracking, and tender/contract reference. Address discrepancies or disputes in bills with supporting documentation. Provide weekly/monthly MIS reports to management on cleared, pending, and rejected bills. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of railway billing processes (mechanical & fabrication works). Familiarity with manpower deployment, bogie maintenance, and bio-toilet project billing. Hands-on experience with railway portals ( IREPS, IPAS ). Effective communication and coordination with government/railway departments. High attention to detail with strong documentation and compliance focus. Persistence and patience in handling public sector processes.
