Billing Of Quantity (Interior)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented BOQ Executive to manage quantity estimation and billing activities for interior sites. The role involves taking precise measurements, preparing Bills of Quantities, and estimating materials such as tiles, flooring, paint, ceiling, furniture, and other interior components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior and architectural works.
• Take measurements from drawings and from the actual site to estimate material requirements (tiles, paint, furniture, ceiling, etc.).
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and site data to determine quantities of materials and labor.
• Coordinate with designers, site engineers, and project teams for clarity on design details.
• Conduct rate analysis and prepare cost estimates for materials and labor.
• Assist in quotation preparation and tender submissions.
• Verify and approve vendor and contractor bills as per executed work.
• Maintain and update pricing data from vendors and suppliers.
• Track quantity changes or design revisions that affect the BOQ or project cost.
• Support the team in cost optimization and material planning.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of interior materials (tiles, plywood, laminates, paint, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Excel / AutoCAD / MS Office preferred.

Salary:

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience)

Education:

Any Graduate / Diploma in Civil, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BOQ preparation or quantity estimation for interior or architectural projects.
