Billing Engineer - Civil

As a Billing Engineer, your role involves preparing client and subcontractor bills according to the executed work and contract terms. You will be responsible for verifying site measurements, drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), as well as coordinating with the site execution team to ensure billing accuracy. Maintaining and updating records of work-in-progress, material reconciliation, and certified quantities will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, tracking work orders, variation orders, and preparing Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements are crucial tasks. You will also liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments for bill approvals and follow-ups, supporting the preparation of cash flow statements, cost tracking, and project cost control. Ensuring compliance with project contracts, specifications, and standards, and handling billing documentation such as tax invoices, e-way bills, and supporting documents are essential aspects of the role. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare client and subcontractor bills based on the executed work and contract terms. - Verify site measurements, drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ). - Coordinate with the site execution team to ensure billing accuracy. - Maintain and update records of work-in-progress, material reconciliation, and certified quantities. - Track work orders, variation orders, and ensure accurate billing. - Prepare Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements. - Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments for bill approvals and follow-ups. - Support in preparing cash flow statements, cost tracking, and project cost control. - Ensure compliance with project contracts, specifications, and applicable standards. - Handle documentation related to billing, including tax invoices, e-way bills, and supporting documentation. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of civil engineering billing procedures, estimation, and cost control. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, BuildSmart, etc.). - Understanding of contractual clauses, tendering, and project specifications. Please note that this is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The job requires at least 2 years of experience as a Billing Engineer. The work location is in person.
