JD For Billing Engineer

• Preparation of Detailed Item Rate Bills (RA Bills & Final Bills) as per BOQ, approved rates, and work order conditions.
• Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) for RCC works such as footing, column, beam, slab, stair, and other structural members as per approved structural drawings.
• Measurement Book (MB) preparation based on actual site measurements and comparison with GFC / PR drawings.
• Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD (quantity extraction), and billing formats (mandatory).
• Verification of contractor bills with site execution, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain

  BOQ, abstract, and variation statements.

• Quantity including earthwork, RCC, shuttering, brickwork, plaster, flooring, and miscellaneous works.
• Track

  extra items, deviations, and change orders.

• Coordination with site engineers, planning team, and contractors for measurement confirmation and billing accuracy.
• Maintaining proper billing records, abstracts, reconciliation statements, and supporting documents.
• Basic knowledge of IS codes, standard measurement practices, and rate analysis.
• Ensure billing compliance with

  contract conditions and drawings

• Monitor

  project cost vs. budget

  and highlight variances
• Support

  internal audits and client reconciliations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in

  Civil Engineering

• Strong knowledge of

  construction billing and measurement

• Hands-on experience with

  RA bills, BOQ, and rate analysis

• Mandatory in

  MS Excel

  , AutoCAD (for quantity take-offs)
• Familiarity with

  construction contracts and specifications

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in

  residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects

• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
