Job Description

Job Role: Billing Engineer (Client Side)

Project: The Westin Hotel, Jaipur – Marriott Group

Reporting To: Project Manager / Client Representative

Key Responsibilities:-

Verify contractor measurements as per approved GFC drawings, BOQ, and contract conditions
Prepare and certify Running Account (RA) bills and final bills submitted by contractors.
Cross-check quantities with site records, joint measurements, and approved specifications.
Track billed quantities against approved BOQ and budget.
Identify variations, extra items, and deviations; prepare variation statements for approval.
Ensure billing is within approved scope and contractual limits.
Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, PMC, and contractors for measurement and billing clarifications.
Maintain proper billing documentation, measurement sheets, abstracts, and supporting records.
Assist in reconciliation of quantities at different stages of the project.
Ensure all bills comply with contract terms, payment milestones, retention clauses, and statutory requirements.
Review rate analysis for extra items and non-BOQ works.
Check deductions such as advances, recoveries, penalties, and taxes.
Support internal and external audits related to billing and cost.
Ensure transparency, accuracy, and timely certification of bills as per project timelines.
