Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will create data-driven strategies that improve our company s processes. You should have a passion for data and a highly analytical mind.

Project and Initiative Delivery (80%)

Develop and utilize dashboards effectively in Tableau
Contribute to architectural activities on projects and collaborate with business team members, Business Analysts and Project Managers to convert functional specifications into technical specifications
Partner with business and functional IT to identify areas of opportunity where additional insight (data and metrics) could add value
Researching, developing, and implementing data-gathering methods
Collaborating with coworkers and management to implement improvements
Assist with reporting requirements and design documentation
Assist with BI tool administrative tasks
Ability to articulate BI/Analytics designs and concepts to all levels of management
Leverage AI/ML technologies such as Microsoft Copilot to automate processes and enrich datasets
Synthesize data and feedback from users, clients, and management
Service Delivery Improvements (10%)
Support incident resolution as needed
Support offshore delivery partners

Administrative, Legal, SOX Compliance (10%)

Follow all control and compliance regulations

SUPERVISORY / BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITY

Understands and supports the Company s goals and objectives, and makes certain that his/her actions and decisions are consistent with them

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE - ANY DUTIES NOT CONSIDERED ESSENTIAL)

Collaborate with IT and non-IT personnel
Agile Project Management skills
Assist with the training and development of our business users

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED FOR JOB PERFORMANCE)

Proficient at SQL
Hands on use of core BI toolsets, including Tableau
Experience with AI/ML technologies, such as Microsoft Copilot.
Knowledge in one of more functional areas - Retail, Marketing, Merchandising, or HR/Finance
Must possess a strong desire to learn and understand business concepts central to running a retail and wholesale organization across all functional areas
Must have very strong oral and written communication skills, be outspoken and willing to learn new concepts
Must be personable, and work well in dynamic team environments

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A bachelors degree in Business Intelligence or related filed required with appropriate information technology course work expected. Appropriate work experience may be substituted.
Strong Communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Expert problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience working with cloud data store environments such as AWS a plus
5+ years of experience architecting and delivering BI solutions
