Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for analyzing automotive technologies, including conventional components such as powertrain controls, body electrical systems, controller architecture, connected telematics (v2x/safety/comfort convenience), and understanding the design philosophy of competitors" vehicles from a customer's perspective. You will study and analyze the functions, architecture, and integration of these technologies with other electrical and electronics systems. Additionally, you will conduct design, cost, weight analysis, and performance evaluation of new technologies, prepare analysis summary reports, and provide support to the engineering team. Sharing and releasing benchmarking sheets and analysis summary reports will also be part of your responsibilities. You will analyze benchmarking ideas for implementation in company models, study upcoming technologies through benchmarking activities, and collaborate with the engineering team. Furthermore, you will need to have root cause analysis skills and develop countermeasures for design and quality issues. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze automotive technologies, including conventional components and connected technologies - Study and analyze functions, architecture, and integration of electrical and electronics systems - Conduct design, cost, weight analysis, and performance evaluation of new technologies - Prepare analysis summary reports and support the engineering team - Share and release benchmarking sheets and analysis reports - Analyze benchmarking ideas for implementation in company models - Study upcoming technologies through benchmarking activities and collaborate with the engineering team - Utilize root cause analysis skills and develop countermeasures for design and quality issues Qualification Required: - Experience in design, development, or testing in at least one domain area related to engine electrical, body electrical, controllers, connected technologies (telematics), ADAS systems, or comfort and convenience technologies - Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronics system basic functions and integration - Understanding of hardware, controllers, and sensors used in automotive technologies - Familiarity with performance, safety, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures of technology systems/subsystems - Knowledge of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, tooling, and cost estimation - Understanding of market issues - Educational background: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering, Graduation/PG in Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
