Job Summary:
The Beam Saw Operator is responsible for operating the Homag Sawteq B-180 to accurately cut panel boards (MDF, Particle Board, Plywood, etc.) as per the cutting list provided by the design or production team. The operator ensures optimal material utilization, precise dimensions, and smooth machine functioning during shift operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Homag Sawteq B-180 beam saw machine independently according to job instructions and safety standards
• Read and interpret cutting lists, drawings, and job cards to execute accurate panel cutting
• Enter correct panel sizes, thickness, and cutting sequences in the machine software (Cut Rite or related system)
• Load and unload panel sheets properly with safety and alignment
• Check cut sizes and edge squareness after every job batch
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage during cutting operations
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the beam saw
• Identify and report any issues related to machine performance or cutting accuracy
• Maintain cutting records, productivity sheets, and machine usage logs
• Follow safety guidelines for machine operation, handling sharp tools, and lifting panels
• Coordinate with the store and design teams to confirm board material and availability
• Ensure daily targets are met without compromising accuracy or material efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: ITI or Diploma in Wood Technology / Mechanical / CNC Machine Operation or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in modular furniture or panel processingMachine Knowledge: Must have hands-on experience with Homag Sawteq B-180 or similar beam sawsSoftware Knowledge: Familiarity with cutting optimization software (Cut Rite preferred)Technical Skills: Understanding of cutting tolerances, material types, and machine settingsAttention to Detail: High level of precision and awareness in measurementsPhysical Stamina: Ability to lift and handle large boards and work on factory floors

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
