BDM - Student Business

As a Business Development Manager for the Student Business, your main task is to expand the educational consultant channel to facilitate fees and living expense remittance for students studying abroad. You will be responsible for Pre-Sales, Sales, and Post-Sales activities related to the remittance process. - Expand the network of educational consultants and onboard them as partners to guide students in remitting tuition fees and living expenses. - Conduct webinars with partner educational consultants to educate students/parents on the remittance process, focusing on areas like forex rates and mandatory documentation. - Provide guidance to each student throughout the remittance process, ensuring the collection of all necessary documents. - Follow up on the student database for fees and living expenses for each semester, as fees are typically paid in two tranches annually. - Work towards maximizing the margin for each transaction to increase overall revenue. - Cross-sell additional services such as education loans, visa facilitation, and insurance for added revenue. - Achieve annual targets including absolute revenue (Margin) target, transaction value target, and student target. - Increase the base of education consultants by adding a specified number of UG and PG consultants. - Achieve conversion targets comparing actual outcomes to leads generated. - Provide necessary support to each student/parent throughout the remittance process. - Organize a specified number of webinars with each onboarded consultant. - Possess 4+ years of experience (excluding Byjus experience). - Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to build and maintain relationships with educational consultants. - Proficiency in market research, lead generation, and sales funnel management to onboard the right educational consultants. You will be working 6 days a week from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (Monday to Saturday) with a salary of 710 LPA based on relevant experience and candidature.,
