Position Title: Business Development Manager - Digital Marketing Services Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Employment Type: Full-time, Work from Office Experience Level: 5+ years Reports To: Business Head, MITRAS Global About MITRAS Global MITRAS Global, a sister concern of Mantra Softech, is expanding its digital marketing vertical to international markets. We provide end-to-end digital marketing services. With an established domestic client base, we are now positioned to leverage our expertise to serve international clients seeking high-quality, cost-effective digital marketing solutions from India. Role Overview As a BDM of our Digital Marketing Services, you will be responsible for getting new clients onboarded and solely focused on INR 10L revenue generation within Year-1. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in digital marketing tools and methodologies with proven sales capabilities to identify, pursue, and secure international clients. The candidate is expected to verify their success stories with client testimonials. Working from our Ahmedabad office, you will be responsible for building our international client portfolio, establishing MITRAS Global as a trusted offshore digital marketing partner, and achieving measurable revenue goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development & Market Penetration : - Develop and execute market entry strategies primarily for international markets, expected to - build an initial pipeline of 30+ lakhs within the Year-1. - Implement data-driven prospecting using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and SpyFu to identify - potential clients with digital marketing gaps, expecting to achieving substantial qualified leads monthly. - Conduct technical website audits and digital presence analyses as prospecting tools, with 20%+ conversion to sales meetings - Create and execute an independent ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns for high-value prospects, achieving a 15%+ response rate to targeted outreach - Leverage technical digital marketing assessments as lead magnets, achieving quarterly targets Technical Solution Design & Proposal Development : - Architect comprehensive digital marketing solutions addressing SEO, SEM, content marketing, and conversion optimization needs, maintaining a proposal win rate of 20%+ Develop technical implementation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for each prospect, demonstrating projected ROI of 3:1 or better on digital marketing investments. - Conduct competitor benchmarking and gap analysis using enterprise tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics, identifying 3+ actionable improvement areas for each prospect. - Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure technical accuracy in proposals and seamless handoffs, reducing implementation issues by 30%+ Revenue Generation & Pipeline Management Achieve monthly & QTLY revenue targets through new client acquisition and existing account growth. - Secure 2-3 new clients per quarter with minimum 6-month contract commitments. - Maintain a qualified pipeline of 3x monthly revenue target with detailed stage progression. - Increase average customer lifetime value by 20%+ in Year 1 through upselling additional digital marketing services. - Monitor and report on sales metrics with 90%+ forecast accuracy by Q3. Client Relationship & Account Management : - Serve as primary point of contact for international clients, achieving 85%+ satisfaction scores despite time zone differences. - Conduct technical review meetings with clients, presenting performance analytics and ROI metrics with 90%+ client retention rate - Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, generating 30%+ revenue growth from the initial base - Establish clear communication protocols and escalation paths, resolving 95%+ of client concerns without delivery team escalation - Build relationships with CMOs, Digital Marketing Directors, and other decision-makers, securing advocates in 70%+ of client accounts . Experience & Education - Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or Digital Marketing certification preferred. - Minimum 5+ years in B2B sales with at least 3 years specifically in digital marketing services sales. - Proven track record of generating 30+ lakhs ($36K+) annual revenue from digital marketing services. - Experience managing international client relationships remotely with 80%+ retention rates. Demonstrated success in consultative selling of technical digital marketing solutions with evidence of exceeding targets by 15%+ in previous roles. Critical Skills & Competencies Technical Digital Marketing Expertise : SEO/SEM Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and optimization strategies, demonstrated by ability to identify 3+ critical improvement areas in initial client assessments Analytics Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools, proven by ability to extract actionable insights from 80%+ of prospect analytics reviews Marketing Technology Stack: Working knowledge of major CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms, with ability to recommend appropriate technology solutions for 90%+ of prospect needs Performance Marketing: Strong understanding of PPC, display advertising, remarketing, and conversion optimization, demonstrated by ability to project realistic ROAS metrics for potential campaigns Sales & Business Development Skills: Consultative Selling: Proven ability to diagnose client needs and prescribe appropriate solutions, maintaining 20%+ close rates in previous roles Value Articulation: Exceptional skill in translating technical capabilities into business value, achieving 25%+ higher proposal acceptance rates than team averages Sales Methodology: Demonstrated proficiency in structured sales approaches (SPIN, Challenger, etc.) with evidence of 30%+ improvement in closing efficiency Remote Sales Effectiveness: Experience conducting effective sales processes via video conference, achieving comparable close rates to in-person selling International Business Acumen: Cross-Cultural Communication: Ability to build rapport with diverse international clients, demonstrated by positive feedback from 85%+ of clients from different regions Time Zone Management: Proven strategies for effective communication across time zones, maintaining response times under 8 business hours for all client inquiries Global Market Understanding: Knowledge of regional digital marketing trends and competitive landscapes in target markets, with ability to tailor proposals to specific market conditions Communication & Presentation Skills: English Fluency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (IELTS 7.0+ equivalent) Presentation Abilities: Capacity to deliver compelling pitches and client presentations, with 80%+ advancement rate from presentation to next sales stage Technical Translation: Skill in explaining complex digital marketing concepts to non-technical stakeholders, achieving 90%+ understanding rates in client meetings Tool Proficiency Demonstrated expertise in: SEO/SEM tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console Analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Data Studio CRM systems: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho Presentation and proposal tools: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, Figma Evidence of using these tools to identify opportunities worth 20+ lakhs ($24K+) in previous roles. Performance Metrics & KPIs Revenue Metrics: Monthly Revenue Target: Achievement of assigned monthly revenue targets. YoY Growth: Minimum 20% year-over-year revenue growth in assigned territories Deal Closure Rate: Close minimum 15-20% of qualified opportunities Business Development Metrics: New Client Acquisition: Minimum 2-3 new clients per quarter Pipeline Value: Maintain a sales pipeline of 3x quarterly target Market Penetration: Successfully enter 1-2 new international markets annually Lead Generation: Generate 10-15 qualified leads per month Conversion Rate: 20-25% conversion rate from proposal to closed deal Client Relationship Metrics : Client Retention: 80%+ client retention rate Upselling Success: 30%+ of clients upgraded to additional services Client Satisfaction: Average client satisfaction score of 8.5/10 or higher Activity Metrics: Client Meetings: 5-7 meaningful prospect/client meetings weekly Proposals: Submit 6-8 quality proposals monthly Follow-up Rate: 100% follow-up on all proposals within 72 hours ROI Justification: The Business Development Manager role is expected to deliver: First 3 months: Pipeline development and initial deals worth 1.5x the cost of employment Months 4-6: Revenue generation of 2-3x the cost of employment After 6 months: Consistent monthly revenue of 4x the cost of employment - This position is crucial for our international expansion and is expected to contribute 15-20% to the - overall company growth within the first year.
