Battery Management System (BMS) Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based scripts for robotic actuator control.
• Execute and analyze 72 different battery test scenarios including charge rate, discharge cycles, temperature monitoring, and safety validation.
• Collect, process, and interpret test data to identify performance issues and optimization areas.
• Work closely with firmware and hardware teams to identify root causes of battery behavior anomalies.
• Support automation improvements within the lab and ensure consistent test execution.
• Document all results, prepare reports, and provide insights to enhance system efficiency.

Skills Required:

• Strong Python programming and automation scripting skills.
• Experience with robotic systems or actuator-based testing setups.
• Familiarity with battery chemistry, power management, and safety standards.
• Exposure to Android system logs, performance tools, and power profiling.
• Knowledge of AI or data analytics for test data interpretation is desirable.

Experience:

Minimum of 4 to 8 years in battery testing, validation, or automation engineering within consumer electronics or embedded systems.
