Bartending Faculty / Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bartending Faculty to train and mentor students in the field of bartending and mixology. The ideal candidate should have strong industry experience, teaching abilities, and up-to-date knowledge of trends in beverage service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theoretical and practical training in bartending, mixology, beverage service, flair bartending, and responsible alcohol service.
• Design and update course materials, lesson plans, and hands-on training modules.
• Conduct live demonstrations on cocktail preparation, garnishing techniques, bar setup, and inventory management.
• Teach international and regional beverage knowledge, including wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical exams, and feedback.
• Maintain inventory and proper setup of training bar equipment and materials.
• Promote professional hygiene, safety standards, and responsible service protocols.
• Stay current with industry trends and certifications (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI, TIPS).
• Organize workshops, guest lectures, field visits to bars/hotels, and competitions.
• Assist in placements and career guidance of students.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / F&B Service / Hospitality or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1–5 years of bartending experience in star-rated hotels, bars, or cruise lines. Teaching or training experience is a plus.
• Certifications: TIPS, WSET, or any flair bartending certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, beverage laws, and customer service.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and student development.

Desirable Qualities:

• Flair for mixology and creativity in drink presentation.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Familiarity with AV teaching tools and online learning platforms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month

• Kottayam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
