Bartender Job Description

Position Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong knowledge of drink recipes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and specialty beverages according to standard recipes.
• Take customer orders accurately and make recommendations based on preferences.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and comply with all alcohol service regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters, equipment, tools, and glassware.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and track shortages.
• Handle cash, process payments, and balance the register.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Create a positive guest experience by engaging in friendly conversation.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to support smooth operations.
• Handle customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Must meet legal requirements for serving alcohol (age, certifications, etc.).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up kegs, cases, supplies.
• Manual dexterity for handling glassware and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
