Banquet Sales Manager

• Responsible for the entire book keeping jobs and hub related assignments.
• To interact with the BQT Supervisor / BQT Manager / FBM on the day today operation of the banquets every day on the beginning and the closing of the shift hours.
• To attend in the briefing sessions to share the clarity of the event with the team.
• Ascertain Guests needs and investigate further by asking probing questions.
• Ensure Guest is satisfied and convert enquiry into confirmation
• Maximize sales opportunities by up selling or adding additional services to the package.
• Handle resistance rates positively. Explain to the Guest the value additions and the purpose of the rates. Discount only in extreme situations with the necessary approval from the GM
• Close the meeting assertively with the commitment from the customer to make a booking or to continue the business relationship further
• Inspecting if all records such as Banquet booking dairy or in the systems.

Updated Follow up register are maintained

• To organize yourself to meet the host or coordinator of the event twice during the function.
• Ensuring that all VIP’s are personally received and secured.
• Ensuring good and cordial relations with Guest to maximize the revenue.
• To depute team member for the service assistance as and when required.
• To read the business trend and recommend business promotion to the GM

Analyze daily revenue and cost reports along with the monthly P& L statements to ascertain all costs are in line.
