As a Bancassurance Manager at our leading Life Insurance company in Kottayam, Kerala, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and business development through bancassurance partnerships. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and managing relationships with banking partners, achieving sales targets, conducting training sessions for sales teams, collaborating with marketing for promotional activities, and ensuring smooth operations in terms of documentation and compliance. Your key responsibilities will involve maximizing sales of life insurance products through effective strategies, training banking sales teams, collaborating with marketing for promotional activities, monitoring bancassurance channel performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the banking sector. You will also track competitor activity, report on performance metrics to senior management, and stay updated on market trends to refine sales approaches. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry, with a proven track record in sales, particularly in bancassurance or channel sales. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of life insurance products, market trends, and familiarity with the Kottayam region's banking landscape would be advantageous. A results-driven mindset and the ability to meet sales targets and deadlines are also key requirements. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any field, along with certifications or training related to life insurance such as IRDAI certification.
