• Provide round-the-clock inpatient obstetric coverage, closely tracking labour stages and escalating to the consultant when required.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, record vitals, and order routine investigations aligned with departmental protocols.
• Assist in normal vaginal deliveries, caesarean preparations, episiotomy repairs, and postpartum management.
• Stabilise obstetric emergencies—PPH, eclampsia, and foetal distress—initiating ACLS/BLS and coordinating rapid intervention teams.
• Educate mothers on antenatal nutrition, breastfeeding, and postnatal recovery, ensuring informed consent at every step.
• Maintain accurate EMR entries, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries to support seamless multidisciplinary care.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have
• BAMS degree with current State Medical Council registration.
• Minimum 1 year RMO or internship experience in an OB/GYN ward.
• Competence in IV access, catheterisation, neonatal resuscitation, and basic life-support protocols.
• Clear spoken and written proficiency in English and Hindi for patient counselling and documentation.
• Preferred
• DGO, fellowship, or hands-on ultrasound exposure.
• Familiarity with hospital EMR systems and NABH quality standards.
