Backend/Database Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer / Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and databases. The role focuses on building reliable APIs, managing data storage, ensuring performance, and maintaining security and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design and develop server-side logic and APIs
• Integrate backend services with front-end applications
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Debug, test, and maintain backend systems

Database Development

• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Optimize database performance and indexing
• Ensure data integrity, security, and backups
• Handle data migration and versioning
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in backend languages such as:
• PHP, Java, Python, Node.js or C#
• Strong knowledge of databases:
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
• Experience with: RESTful APIs, ORM tools, Database normalization and indexing
• Familiarity with: Git/version control, Linux environments, Basic cloud services

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Attention to detail

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, IT, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in backend and/or database development
