Description
As the Backend Engineering Lead at Darwix AI, you will play a pivotal role in leading the backend development and infrastructure strategy of our cutting-edge Gen-AI-enabled sales platform. You will be responsible for driving the architecture and development of innovative AI-powered solutions, working closely with the founders and product leadership team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor a team of skilled engineers as we continue to scale our product offerings and infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and architecting highly scalable backend systems to support complex AI-driven SaaS products, leading backend technology roadmap decisions, and overseeing the development of reliable and high-performance RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations. You will also be instrumental in managing the technology stack, which includes Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), PHP, JavaScript (Node.js, React.js, Angular), AI & ML integrations, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD Pipelines). In this role, you will be expected to architect and scale applications leveraging cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless environments. You will also be responsible for implementing robust DevOps practices, managing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 7+ years of experience in backend engineering, with a minimum of 3+ years managing engineering teams. You should have extensive hands-on experience with Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), JavaScript (Node.js), PHP, React, and Angular, along with a deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and effective cross-team collaboration are essential for success in this position. Furthermore, a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from Tier 1 colleges is preferred.
