Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend systems
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to ship high-impact features
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and backend tech strategy
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability
• Monitor, debug, and optimize services in a cloud-based environment (e.g., AWS)
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team
• Work in an Agile environment with short release cycles and continuous delivery

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

• Have 3–4 years of experience in backend development, preferably at high-growth startups or product companies
• Are skilled in modern backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Go, Java, or Python) and cloud platforms like AWS
• Understand system design, microservices, and API architecture
• Have experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Enjoy solving performance challenges (latency, memory, cost optimization)
• Are a strong communicator, proactive team player, and fast learner
• Care about code quality, testing, and maintainability

Ideal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science from top-tier institutes (IITs, NITs, BITs or any equivalent top-tier institution).
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth product companies or start-ups.
• Passionate about making an impact and solving complex problems with empathy for end users.
