• Design and build scalable, multi-tenant APIs with proper authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
• Create and optimize high-performance data pipelines for the RedShift data warehouse.
• Architect, deploy, and manage core backend systems on cloud servers, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate, deploy, and serve AI models in a production environment.
• Develop and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers to facilitate tooling and interoperability for AI applications.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of full-stack and backend services.
• Provide the foundational platforms and APIs that the Workflow Engineer consumes.

Screening Parameters:

• Strong, proven experience in core Backend engineering and system design.
• Demonstrated ability in designing and scaling multi-tenant backend systems for high concurrency.
• Proficiency in API design (REST, GraphQL) and implementing robust security (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting).
• Expertise in database design, performance tuning, and optimization (PostgreSQL, Redshift).
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and manage full-stack projects on a server.
• Experience working with or building MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers.
• Proficiency in handling and processing NLP data at scale.
• Proven involvement in AI model projects (integration, deployment, inference serving).

Projects Must Have/Done:

• Deployed a full-stack application from development to a production server.
• Scaled a multi-tenant backend system to handle high concurrent loads.
• Implemented a production-grade rate-limiting system for APIs.
• Built and optimized data pipelines for unstructured or NLP data.
• Integrated an AI/ML model into a backend service and served it via an API.
• Worked on projects involving MCP servers or similar AI tooling infrastructure.
• Set up and maintained a CI/CD pipeline for automated testing and deployment.

TechStack:

• Backend: Node.js, Express.js
• AI & Data: Hugging Face, NLP libraries (spaCy, NLTK)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Vector Databases (e.g., pgvector)
• Infrastructure & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Redis Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka
• APIs & Auth: REST, GraphQL, OAuth2, JWT, Rate Limiting (e.g., via Redis, API Gateway)
• Specialized: Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Commitement

• Duration: 3-month contract (with potential extension based on performance, project need)
• Availability: 9 hours per day (Full-time)
• Compensation: 80k upto 1L per month, depending on experience and skills
• Expectation: Must demonstrate strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a remote technical team
