Role Description – Backend Developer (Spring Boot)

full-time, on-site

The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using Spring Boot for scalable software applications. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with front-end systems and to optimize application performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing RESTful APIs using

  Spring Boot

• Working with MySQL databases

  for design, queries, and optimizations
• Ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment management
• Working closely within the team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in Spring Boot

  and the Spring ecosystem

• Strong knowledge of Java (OOP concepts, collections, multithreading, etc.)

• Proficiency in MySQL

  (queries, joins, schema design)
• Good understanding of backend architecture and API development
• Practical experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and how backend integrates with them
• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
• Exposure to cloud deployments or CI/CD pipelines

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience

  as a Backend Developer (Spring Boot preferred)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science
