Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Python (Django/Flask)Design and optimize REST APIs for consumption by TypeScript/Next.js frontendsWork with relational databases including PostgreSQL (preferred) and MySQLIntegrate with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone or FAISS) and embedding storesImplement secure and efficient data handling practices for sensitive documentsCollaborate with the AI and front-end teams to build intelligent document processing workflowsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in backend developmentStrong programming skills in Python with knowledge of OOP principlesExperience with Django, Flask, or equivalent Python frameworksFamiliarity with TypeScript, Next.js, or working closely with frontend teamsWorking knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and API designWorking knowledge of API design, asynchronous processing, and containerization (Docker)Understanding of security best practices in backend systemsExperience with AI/ML integration, AWS/Azure/Vercel, or microservicesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
