Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in WordPress and PHP to develop, maintain, and enhance server-side functionalities, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable websites. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with WordPress architecture, plugin development, and PHP programming.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient PHP code.
• Implement backend functionalities for websites and web applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress sites.
• Optimize website performance, security, and database management.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and content teams to implement new features.
• Keep up-to-date with WordPress updates, PHP trends, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress development.
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB database management.
• Understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and custom post types.
• Familiarity with REST API integration.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics for front-end integration.
